Senior staff – coordinator nutrition Flemish Institute for Healthy Living
Loes Neven is a dietitian and holds a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Leuven, Belgium. For 10 years she’s been working in the field of public health nutrition at the Flemish Institute for Healthy Living (an advisory body for the Flemish government, department of public health). Loes’ expertise lies in translating nutrition science into practical recommendations.
This resulted recently in the launch of a new model for Flanders: the reversed food triangle or pyramid.
