About Porbatata
Founded in 2016, Porbatata – the Portuguese Potato Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Portuguese potatoes and representing the interests of the entire potato supply chain, both nationally and internationally.
Bringing together growers, traders, processors and other stakeholders, Porbatata works to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness and sustainability, promote potato consumption and exports, and encourage cooperation across the agri-food industry.
Based in Lourinhã, Portugal, the association acts as a unified voice for the Portuguese potato sector, supporting its development and promoting the unique qualities of Portuguese potatoes.
