Technical Secretary General at ASEDAS and member of the European Economic and Social Committee
Felipe Medina is an Agricultural Engineer and PhD in Agri-Food Economics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Specialised in public affairs, communication, legislation and food policies, he has more than 15 years of experience in associations of the agri-food sector in Spain and the European Union. Currently, he is the Technical Secretary General of ASEDAS, the Spanish food retailers and wholesalers association.
Felipe Medina is also a member of the European Economic and Social Committee since 2015, and a member of the lobby network and food chain groups of Eurocommerce, the European Association of retailers and wholesalers. With a great knowledge of the functioning of European and Spanish institutions, the decision-making process and public policies, he is a regular speaker in different forums of the sector and a regular lecturer at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza and speaker at the training courses of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
